"Please be advised that as of the 1st January 2014 it has now become a mandatory requirement from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers (ICANN) that all ICANN accredited registrars verify the WHOIS contact information for all new domain registrations, domain transfers and registrant contact modifications."

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers) requires domain owners to confirm their WHOIS contact information for all new domain registrations, transfers, and contact modifications. Keep in mind that it should only affect domains that are ending in:


Before getting any further, you need to know how to check your WHOIS data. You can simply do that by going to and searching for your domain. You should focus more of your attention to "Registrant Contact Email" and check it more thoroughly because that email address right there is the one you will receive the verification email to.

If your domain/website is currently suspended, once you will click on the verification link, your website will start working again as soon as the DNS will propagate. It usually happens within 24 hours, but almost in every case this happens within few hours.
